Another successful year for the Great American Irish Festival! Other than an absolute downpour that canceled the Elders show on Saturday night, the weekend was a total success! A plethora of great bands!

The Great American Irish Festival is coming up July 25 through the 27th. This is a terrific festival held just west of Utica, NY, in the town of Frankfort.

this will be short, and hopefully self explanitory. I fractured my right wrist (I am right handed). Its making typing and doing much of anything rather difficult. I get a smaller cast next week and hopefully will be more useful then.

Celtic Music News has just added Scythian to it’s library!
Had the pleasure of seeing Scythian live on 5/23/08 and as usual they put on a stellar performance! This band is out of Washington DC and is being booked at major festivals and drawing huge crowds of people. They are real crowd pleasers and play a large selection of Celtic, Gypsy & Ukranian tunes.
